Company History

CERTEK was formally a subsidiary of DMB and Sons Inc., a construction company based out of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada. Because of the extreme cold weather conditions during the winter months in Northern Canada, construction (especially concrete construction) can come to a complete halt if proper measures are not taken to keep the ground and concrete from freezing. The recurring cost of conventional heat were becoming prohibitive due to energy costs. But work had to continue and so it was with the intent of working year round, that DMB and Sons Inc. began experimenting with a new design, the CERTEK heat machine.

After several years of research and development, the CERTEK Heat Machine matured into a machine capable of producing safe, efficient heat to almost any type of industry. In 2004 CERTEK Heat Machine was incorporated as a standalone company with the vision to provide quality products and services to the heating industry. CERTEK quickly expanded its vision to include a push to present and patent new equipment to provide the oil and gas industry with a new standard of heating excellence. CERTEK is proud to be an industry leader, being the first to provide remote monitoring as a standard on all its units
