Proplyene Glycol
This substance is integral to our operation here at CERTEK. It is a thick liquid that holds and conducts heat very effectively. By warming it up with our machines, and then running it through hoses that can be stretched long distances and wrapped around equipment, the heat transferred by the proplyene glycol can keep temperatures right where our customers want them. The most often asked question is: “Is your heat transfer fluid safe?” We can only answer Yes. But please do the research: Propolyene Glycol is safe and is also a food product. The confusion lies in the other Glycol, (ethylene glycol) which is very unsafe.
