Hot Pod

The Hotpod consists of a copper coil held inside a cylindrical container, with openings at both the top and the bottom. In operation, it is attached to a buoy with a cable long enough to allows complete submersion of the Pod. Heated fluid, provided by a CERTEK Heat Machine, is circulated through the copper coil, warming the water inside. When the warm water rises, the heated water is forced through the top of the Pod, creating a vacuum effect that sucks cold water up through the bottom. This cold water is subsequently heated, forced up, and in circular fashion the process repeats itself. This allows the body of water to be heated internally at a continuous rate, making the Hotpod more efficient than usual methods of pond heating.

FRAC POND & HIGH VOLUME WATER HEATING

The CERTEK Hotpod raises the temperature of large bodies of water in an efficient and continuous manner. It can warm water to a specific temperature, or for simply preventing freezing, and can be used in ponds, dugouts, cisterns, and tanks.

With the patented CERTEK Hotpod, the entire body of water is heated from the inside-out and easily maintains exactly its desired temperature. The Hotpod process creates a 100% efficient heat exchange, and enables heating large bodies of water with less energy, constantly and unsupervised.
